Psoas Release & Massage Course

The psoas is more than just a muscle. It is a core stabilizer, a carrier of tension, and a silent guardian of deep emotion. Working with the psoas opens the door to profound relaxation, balance, and inner spaciousness — for yourself and for others.

In this in-depth training, you will learn to approach the psoas from an anatomical, emotional, and energetic perspective. You’ll explore how the psoas connects with the breathing system, nervous system, fascia, and even the chakra system. We work with massage techniques, fascial release, breathwork, body awareness, and strengthening exercises to give the psoas space — safely, gently, and deeply.

You will develop the sensitivity to recognize patterns of tension and learn techniques that allow you to work from calm and connection — not only on the muscular and fascial level, but also with the body’s somatic memory.

• Anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the psoas
• The role of fascia and the use of Anatomy Trains
• Emotional and energetic aspects of the psoas (nervous system, chakras, somatic memory)
• Testing, fascial release techniques, and massage of the abdomen, back, and pelvic region
• Strengthening and relaxing exercises for the psoas
• Working with clients from softness, safety, and attunement

This course is designed for bodyworkers, massage therapists, yoga teachers, coaches, energetic practitioners, and other professionals who want to work in a body-oriented and holistic way.
