Couples Massage – Duo Massage
About this treatment
Relax together, reconnect
There is something truly special about sharing a massage with someone you love. Side by side on two tables, we both receive a full relaxation massage at the same time — and that shared experience of letting go creates a bond that goes far beyond words. I see it every time: couples leave with softer eyes, a lighter step, and a warmth between them that is palpable.
On Bonaire, everything already invites you to slow down — the turquoise water, the gentle trade winds, the unhurried pace of island life. A Couples Massage fits perfectly into that energy. My treatment room is a quiet oasis where you can both fully arrive, breathe, and be present with each other. No distractions, no rush — just the two of you and the healing power of touch.
Whether you are celebrating a honeymoon, an anniversary, a birthday, or simply want to treat yourselves to something truly nourishing, this is a treatment you will talk about long after you leave the island. I feel privileged to be part of those moments.

What happens during your Couples Massage?
You and your partner will be welcomed into the treatment room together, where two massage tables are set up side by side. After a brief intake, you will both settle comfortably onto the table. Two therapists work simultaneously — each fully focused on one person — so you can truly relax without any waiting or interruption.
The massage follows a flowing, nurturing relaxation technique using warm oils suited to your skin and preferences. Long, gentle strokes ease tension from the back, shoulders, legs and arms. The pace is slow and intentional — designed to guide both body and mind into a deep state of rest. The session runs for 60 minutes, and you are both welcome to simply lie still and enjoy the afterglow together when it is complete.
After your massage, take time to come back gently — a warm herbal tea, soft music, and the quiet of the room are yours to savour. There is no need to rush.
Is this treatment right for you?
The Couples Massage is perfect for partners, best friends, or anyone who wants to share a meaningful moment of relaxation. It is ideal if you are looking for a romantic experience on Bonaire, want to celebrate a special occasion, or simply enjoy things more when you do them together. No prior massage experience is needed — I will take care of everything. If one of you has specific tension areas or preferences, just let me know during the intake and I will tailor the massage accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is a couples massage?
A couples massage is a side-by-side treatment where two people receive their massages simultaneously in the same private room, each attended to by their own therapist. It is designed to be a shared wellness experience while still giving each person personalized attention. You do not have to do anything differently — just show up together and enjoy.
Do we have to be a romantic couple to book this?
Not at all. This treatment is popular with romantic partners, honeymooners, and anniversary travelers, but it is just as lovely for best friends, mothers and daughters, or any two guests who want to enjoy a relaxing shared experience. The name reflects the format — two people, one room — not the relationship.
How long does the treatment last, and what does it cost?
We offer couples massages in different durations to suit your schedule and preferences during your stay. Please see our current pricing page for available session lengths and rates. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak travel seasons on the island.
Can we choose different types of massage or pressure levels?
Absolutely — and this is one of the great advantages of this treatment. Each person can request their own pressure level, focus areas, and intensity. One of you might want a deeply relaxing full-body flow while the other needs focused work on the neck and shoulders. Both therapists adapt their approach individually, so neither of you has to compromise.
Is a couples massage a good idea after a day of diving in Bonaire?
Yes, and it is a very popular choice for exactly that reason. A day of diving can leave your body holding tension in the neck, shoulders, upper back, and legs. A relaxation massage after diving helps release that muscular fatigue and supports recovery beautifully. Just be sure you have completed a sufficient surface interval before your appointment, as we recommend waiting at least a few hours after your final dive.
Can we book a couples massage on the same day?
Same-day bookings are sometimes possible depending on therapist availability, but we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance — especially during the high season. Coordinating two therapists and a private room for the same time slot means availability can fill quickly. Booking ahead ensures you get your preferred date and time without disappointment.
Where is Massage Bonaire located?
Massage Bonaire is located in Kralendijk, the capital of Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean. We are easy to reach from most hotels, resorts, and rental accommodations on the island. If you have questions about finding us or arranging transport, feel free to reach out when you book.
What should we do to prepare for our couples massage?
There is very little preparation needed — just arrive a few minutes early, stay well hydrated, and avoid heavy meals in the hour before your session. Wear or bring comfortable clothing, and let your therapist know about any injuries, sensitivities, or areas you would like extra attention or prefer to avoid. Everything else is taken care of for you.
